Gaia Crazy Lace Agate Locket

Crazy lace agate is the only stone for her: no two bands run the same way twice, cream and amber and smoke shifting without a pattern you can predict. It's the stone equivalent of the turn from summer to winter — the one season you can actually feel changing under your feet.

The agate does most of the talking — swirled bands that look almost like a landscape seen from above. Around it, hand-knotted macramé fans out in a leafy, textured border, finished with brass beads at the shoulders of the cord. Below the locket, a brass chain fringe drops to a single brass teardrop and a blush freshwater pearl — the one warm, soft note against all that black knotwork and stone.
